How do I remove the image caption from the homepage gallery?

Image captions is text that overlay the main gallery carousel image. This information is contained in the image data.

In the main menu, go to Images → Images data

You will see all the images updated:

You just need to remove Title & Subtitle if you don’t want to show any text in the image.
